El gira-sol \u00e9s una planta d’origen nadiu americ\u00e0 que va ser retornada a Europa a finals del segle XVI. Els nadius americans l’utilitzaven per les seves propietats nutricionals i medicinals. El terme rosa de roca atribu\u00eft al gira-sol prov\u00e9 del grec helios, el sol i anthos, la flor que es tradueix com la flor del sol.<\/p>

Per descomptat, aix\u00f2 es deu a la forma radiant de la flor, un groc brillant que recorda el sol. A m\u00e9s, la paraula gira-sol es pren en pr\u00e9stec de l’itali\u00e0 girasole, que gira amb el sol. Tercer oli m\u00e9s consumit a Fran\u00e7a, ara hi ha molts cultivars, incl\u00f2s l’anomenat gira-sol oleic.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
