La manteca de karit\u00e9 refinada se obtiene del hueso o semilla de la semilla de karit\u00e9 (Butyrospermum parkii), un \u00e1rbol que crece principalmente en Sud\u00e1n y \u00c1frica occidental (Ghana, Nigeria y Mal\u00ed).\n
